Wendy and Jerry's Beautiful Wedding

Here are some images from Wendy and Jerry's beautiful wedding at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami. Although it was a rainy day and night, the sky cleared up to have a wonderful cocktail hour overlooking Biscayne Bay.

Congratulations to Rosa and Alfred on their great pictures. They're getting married at the Club of Knights on November 22nd. Can't wait to see their vision come to life. New Cake Vendor

So, I am always on the look out for ways to improve our services. I recently received information on a new cake vendor and I decided to give them a try. They're awesome! The taste, the look, the service. I know some of you at times were not too happy with the service you were receiving at Divine Delicacies. We listen to your concerns and have made the move.

Now all of our package cakes will also include a filling: strawberries, raspberries, peach, pineapple, or buttercream.

The Loft on Bayshore

Well, we've started our next project. The Loft on Bayshore is in process. It has indoor space for 350 guests. Private parking, late curfew, and great look.

For those who like the contemporary look, it will have exposed dark ceilings, stark white walls, and dark wood flooring.

Lots of fabric and lighting will finish of the place. We're starting to take bookings already. Packages will definitely be competitive. It's the perfect place for an after party too (especially if you're getting married at Vizcaya since we're right next door. We share a fence!)

Saturday's Events

As many of you know I'm not in the office today, but I wanted to give everyone an update on this weekend's events. Wendy and Jerry's wedding at Vizcaya was great! In spite of the rain everyone had a great time. Pictures will be available soon.

DK and Joy also had a great time. The Club of Knights rocked until midnight with the incredible sound work of Willie, from the DJ Connection (http://www.thedjconnectioninc.com/) . Thanks again for the good work.

This week, it Barbara and Michael at the Club of Knights. I'll keep you posted.

Tomorrow's events

Hello Everyone:

Tomorrow we'll be working on 2 events. Congratulations to Dr. Wendy Gallego and Jerry Liu on their upcoming wedding in the most spectacular location-VIZCAYA(see location images above). I've been busy all day with the final touches and communicating with Adrienne, the events coordinator at Vizcaya. She's great.

Wendy was a little under the weather, but happy to report she's doing better and everything for her day will be perfect. Ivory linens, mahogany chivari chairs, silver chargers, and great contemporary, sleek modern centerpieces designed by Juan Carlos Blanco, will fill the beautiful interior of the Vizcaya mansion. A cool lounge area will be set up overlooking the still waters of Biscayne Bay. Hopefully the weather will hold up and the couple will exchange vows on the steps of the house overlooking the gardens and the mound. We hope to have pictures to show soon. They're a very nice couple and we wish them the very best.

DK and Joy Knox will be celebrating their 40TH Wedding anniversary tomorrow. After 40 years together, Joy continues to look beautiful and DK continues to be an amazing man. Philanthropists at heart, they're active members of the Church of the Little Flower in Coral Gables and DK is an ACTIVE member of the Knights of Columbus, Coral Gables council. They're event will have about 140 of their closest friends and family, and will be at the Club of Knights in Coral Gables.

Red linens, glass cylinder vases filled with water and floating candles set atop of a mirror with scattered glass pebbles will decorate the tables. Silver chargers and red napkins finish the look.

On behalf of the Fetes & Events family, we wish Joy and DK many, many, more years of happiness together.

Stephanie & Jermaine

Today we had the tasting for Stephanie & Jermaine's wedding. They're having more than 180 guests!!! It will be at the Club of Knights on October 26, 2008.

80th B-day party

Another fabulous event at the Club of Knights was an 80th b-day party hosted by Teresa Rodriguez in honor of her mom. A surprise party, guests flew in from as far as Spain, New Jersey, and California to honor the special guest of honor.

Teresa designed the adorable cake. Isn't she talented? It was beautiful and tasted as great as it looked thanks to http://www.ddcakes.com/ Divine Delicacies our cake vendor.

No detail was spared. The phalanopsis orchid was used as the theme. Tere ordered the most beautiful hand made pewter orchids used to hold up the table numbers.

A flamenco show was the hit of night.

Cristina and AJ "Chepo"-August 2008-Club of Knights

Another one of my favorite clients. With their bubbly personality and wonderful sense of humor AJ "Chepo" and Cristina were a pleasure to work with.

Natives of Puerto Rico, this couple has known eachother since elementary school. Their wedding was full of vibrant colors and beautiful flowers.
